| Introducing Basement Beats |
 |
Remember when Diddy and Nelly asked you to "Shake Ya Tail Feather" or when Nelly and Tim McGraw's song "Over and Over" played on the radio over and over? Do you remember when Nelly boasted about his "Pimp Juice" or talked about cruising in "Ride Wit Me?" And of course, you recall the chart-topping hit that coined the term "Country Grammar," which broke Nelly. Well if you do, then you are already familiar with the masterminds behind those tracks, Basement Beats.
Basement Beats is a five-man team of talented producers based in St. Louis. KoKo, Wally, WyshMaster, G.A., and Jay-E all have achieved individual platinum status, however, collectively their hits have gone platinum to 6 times platinum. In addition, Basement Beats has placed songs on compilations such as "NBA Ballers Phenom," which sold 5 million copies, "2005 L.A. Rush" for Midway Games and the 2006 Core DJs Compilation.
Basement Beats' string of hits also include:
"#1" by Nelly from the "Training Day" soundtrack
"Hot N Heerre RMX" by Nelly from "Da Derrty Versions" remix album
"Come See Me" by Field Mob featuring Stat Quo from "Ludacris presents...Disturbing Tha Peace"
"E.I." by Nelly from "Country Grammar"
"We Ridin" by Rasheeda
"Midwest Swing" by St. Lunatics from "Free City"
"Work It" by Nelly featuring Justin Timberlake from "Nellyville"
And the list goes on.
You can expect to hear a lot more from these track masters, who have placements on forth coming albums from the following artists: Murphy Lee, Guerilla Black, Avery Storm (Derrty Entertainment's new artist), Potzee (new artist signed to Warner Bros.), Clyph (new artist signed to J Records), Nelly, Field Mob, Chamillionaire, Chingy, Ali, Frankie J, Kanjia, and Dirty Mouth of Trillville.
