Today, ChatterBox Publicity, LLC (CBP) announced the signing of its newest client, The 2006 Global Mixx DJ Retreat. Under the terms of the agreement, CBP will exclusively represent the widely respected DJ conference by providing press junket media support, pre-event, day-of-event, and post-event media coverage. “We are very excited about the opportunity to work with a conference that is quickly becoming the industry hub for the most renowned DJs and music tastemakers,” stated Jonnice Slaughter, ChatterBox Publicity President.
ChatterBox Publicity, LLC, mostly known for entertainment PR, specializing in music and celebrity personalities, recently expanded their services to include event publicity. Upon adding event public relations in July 2005, CBP’s first event was The 2006 Atlanta HipHop Film Festival. By landing The Atlanta HipHop Film Festival, CBP was exposed to a new entertainment sector, event planning, which led to the signing of The Global Mixx DJ Retreat. This year’s Global Mixx DJ Retreat will take place August 10-13, 2006 in downtown Chicago, IL at the House of Blues Hotel. Rappers and Chicago natives, Kanye West and Common have been tapped to Co-Chair The 2006 Global Mixx DJ Retreat.
